Custom Foot Orthotics

An extensive assessment is performed by one of our physiotherapists. This involves everything from studying your footwear history to examining the way your lower limbs move and looking for potential causes of pain in the affected areas. Once we’ve completed the assessment, we can proceed with creating your custom-made product to aid in your healing process.

When used inside the appropriate footwear, a foot orthotic can be very beneficial in treating numerous foot and lower limb ailments such as forefoot pain, arch pain, heel pain, knee pain, and shin splints. Improving lower leg alignment also has a beneficial effect on other conditions such as hip, knee and low back pain.

A foot orthotic can also improve symptoms affecting the foot and lower limbs resulting from conditions such as arthritis and diabetes. A registered physiotherapist will provide a full biomechanical assessment and fitting of your foot orthotics.
